1. Description of the subject area (1 task)

     We consider here a solvable task of optimal distribution of specified value of a family budget for most important future acquisitions. To solve it, is set the utility value for each element of the list of goods and services (GS), which are interesting for the family members (boots, a fir coat, a car, beach vacation, etc.). The result of task solving is such set of GS, which belong to their initial set, when are fulfilled two conditions:their total cost does not exceed a specified amount of the family budget;

  • their total cost does not exceed a specified amount of the family budget;

  • the sum of utility values of these GS is highest among all possible variants of their choice.

     This task can be solved numerically by using the new science-intensive network technology called "Information technology of automation of control of discrete technological and information processes (in short IT AC DTIP)", because optimizable process has all necessary properties for that. This process is discrete and is classified as an instant process of selecting choices. Its elements in terms of DTIP are:

  • goods and services demands;

  • value of a family budget — a device of service.
