1. Description of the subject area (3 tasks)

Definition. The investment share (or share) — is a registered security,which certifies its owner's share in the ownership of the property constituting the mutual investment fund.

     An investor acquires shares in construction of houses (SCH), called here sources of income (SI), with the aim of deriving financial benefit.

     We consider here three solvable task on finding optimal strategies of investing funds in acquisition of such shares from a given set of them, when is maximized a specified quality criterion, which can be:

  • absolute income from the future sale of apartments of the houses under construction (task 1);
  • relative income (per time unit) from the long-term exploitation of living space of the future houses, excluding return on investment (task 2) or including it (task 3).

Note. For the task 3 the return on investment takes place in case when the actual proceeds from exploitation of acquired SI will be no less then a returm sum, which is equal to the product of a cost of this SI by a specified rate of return.

     All these three tasks on optimizing investments in construction are a particular case of the tasks of seven types on optimizing investments in any SI. They can be solved numerically by using the new science-intensive network technology called "Information technology of automation of control of discrete technological and information processes (in short IT AC DTIP)", because optimizable process has all necessary properties for that. This process is discrete and is classified as an instant process of selecting choices. Its elements in terms of DTIP are:

  • shares in construction of houses — demands;
  • amount of investment — a device of service.
